As soon as I arrived at Media.Monks I was tasked with providing copy for Mondelez International’s most popular product: OREO cookies. From the launch of its gluten-free version and its Batman collaboration to copywriting duties for the brand’s Direct to Consumer (DTC) emails, OREO has allowed me to exercise a playful writing style in line with the brands iconic tone of voice. It has also kept me craving cookies for most of my working hours.

I wrote copy for the launch videos of OREO’s gluten-free cookies which looked to emphasize both the cookie’s classic taste and its newly minted gluten-free certification.
Campaign: OREO + Batman
When the OREO x Batman collaboration became official, Media.Monks was tasked with giving wings to the special edition cookies with a 360 Batcave environment where visitors could solve riddles to unlock new content. I was in charge of copywriting , providing riddles in the style of The Riddler, the Batman villain behind the newest film adaptation of the caped crusader.

From march 2021 to march 2022 I wrote emails for OREO DTC, focusing mainly on pushing customizable cookies and official seasonal merch. The challenge was to find a voice for the more sales driven channel while still retaining the playful tone that has become synonymous with the OREO brand.
